Sophomore forward Jessica Smith is no stranger to being near the top of the scorers’ list.
This year, she is second only to fellow sophomore forward Ellen Coleman in goals scored, while also notching three assists. And Smith does it all in less time on the field the sophomore has started just four games but still sees significant playing time coming off the bench.
This past weekend, she helped the women’s soccer team to a 5-0 victory in its University Atheltic Association opener against New York University, notching three assists.

If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would pay for my college, I guess.

If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Ronalinho, because he’s an awesome soccer player.

What’s your favorite UR soccer memory?
Beating NYU the other day.

What are your goals for this season both individually and for the team?

For the team, to obviously win the championship. I guess for me, to help us get there and scoring goals and assists.

What would you say your biggest strength is?
Maybe that I’m a good team player.

What would you say your biggest weakness is?
Probably, I’m not selfish enough.

If you could trade places with someone, who would it be and why?

Angelina Jolie, because she’s famous and cool.
