It&s time to dance the night away at UR&s first official Dance-a-Thon Friday, March 30 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. in the May Room of Wilson Commons.

All proceeds from the event are being donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Walk.

&I think with all the different forces coming together on campus, we should get a really good turnout,& said senior and Community Assistant Emily Bones. &Hopefully this year&s event will go over well and it will remain as a UR tradition for years to come.&

Groups cosponsoring the Dance-a-thon include the Students& Association Senate, the Community Service Net-work, STING, Hill Court Community Assistants and the undergraduate neuroscience council.

Student DJs will provide the music for the evening, and swing and ballroom dancing lessons will be provided.

If you are interested in participating in the Dance-a-Thon, pick up pledge sheets today from any Residental Life office or the Wilson Commons Information desk and get your feet ready for some serious dancing.

By getting sponsors for the Dance-a-Thon, students may also participate in the MS Walk Sunday, April 1 at 8 a.m. which will be starting from the Al Sigl Center.

Drop-ins will be welcome on the night of the event for a minimum $5 donation.

If you have any questions, regarding either event, contact Bones at eb005g@mail or call x42494.
