Gandhi Institute shares nonviolence teachings of Gandhi and MLK in local Rochester community
The Gandhi Institute pays homage to the teachings of Gandhi and prominent Civil Rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. through community involvement, in the form of workshops, community dinners, volunteer work, and work with the Rochester City School District and several other local organizations.

It is human nature to create, to dream, to strive, and while I may feel silly sometimes talking to friends in “loftier” or more stable career paths, I still feel the drive to write, to sing, to scream, to learn.
Film Score
“Jaws in Concert” was a Splash
The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra played the score of the film live, while the movie itself was projected above the musicians. It was a beautiful performance and an affectionate tribute to such a famous film.
