A UR Security vehicle was struck by BBs fired from the vicinity of the Psi Upsilon fraternity house at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, according to UR Security.
The officer driving the vehicle stopped and called for backup. He saw two suspects enter the YU House from the fire escape.
The suspects surrendered the weapon, but neither their names or identities have been determined, according to security.
YU President and senior Chris Johnson said the suspects are not brothers of the fraternity.
This incident is still under investigation.
Undergrad attacked on Wilson Boulevard
While walking on Wilson Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, an undergraduate was assaulted by several unidentified suspects, according to security.
Ignoring comments made by one of the suspects, the victim attempted to continue northbound on the Boulevard when he was hit on the back of the neck by an object.
After being pushed to the ground, the victim was able to free himself and call security from Fauver Stadium. A search of the area was fruitless, according to UR Security Investigator Dan Lafferty.
The victim refused medical treatment for injuries incurred during the attack, and planned to file a police report at a later date.
Dining sign wheeled out of Danforth
Security was notified at 12:10 am on Saturday, Sept. 13, of the theft of a $2,600 poster from the Danforth Dining Entrance, according to security reports.
The poster, approximately four feet by six feet and on wheels, is purple and has a graphic of a large strawberry. According to Lafferty, a witness observed seeing two people wheeling the poster down Wilson Boulevard towards campus.
A police report has been filed, and investigators are looking further into the case.

Multiple laptops stolen
Two laptop thefts were reported this weekend, according to security.
Between 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, and 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, a Sony laptop was stolen from Wilder Tower.
The laptop, valued at approximately $1,000, was removed from the resident’s unsecured room. The resident plans to file a police report at a later date, according to Lafferty.
Also on Friday, September 13, prior to 1:20 a.m., a Compaq laptop valued at $1,300 was stolen from a Munro resident.
The victim does not suspect those present in the suite earlier in the evening, and plans to file a police report via the 311 system.
Bows stolen from Eastma
An Eastman student has filed a police report for the theft of two violin bows from a basement practice room.
According to Lafferty, between 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, the bows, valued at $1,300, were stolen from the secure room with no sign of forced entry.
