Preaching the Southern gospel

First, I would like to dispel a few common myths. I do wear shoes everywhere I go. I don?t live on a farm. I don?t have sex with my siblings ? I don?t even have sex with my cousins. I don?t grow tobacco or marijuana. I have never appeared on an episode of Springer. And […]

Coming together, not being silent

I am deeply concerned at the kind of sentiment expressed in Alissa Miller?s Editorial Observer ?Time to come together? in the Sept. 20 CT. Miller accuses Cecilia Le of having been ?insensitive and untactful? for asking us to look at how the support for Middle Eastern terrorist activity may partially stem from U.S. policy. A […]

When rock band Lifehouse took the stage at the Louis Alexander Palestra last Sunday night, they found themselves in another make-or-break predicament. Currently right in the middle of their very first headlining tour, Lifehouse was faced with the task of trying to prove themselves ? mainly that they can compete with the big boys. This […]

Campus Times

I want to thank the editors and staff of the campus times for the great job they are doing with the "campustimes.org" website. For many alumni, once we leave the U of R the Ivy covered halls, dining center meals, and sub-artic winters are only memories. The Campus Times on-line has provided us a way […]
