A student was reportedly assaulted by other students outside Sigma Chi Fraternity around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Security responded and the student was taken to the emergency department at Strong.

“After creating an incident in the house the night before, the kid came into our house again the following night,” President of Sigma Chi Dustin Sherer said. “Before he could be asked to leave, he elbowed a brother in the face, and he was forcefully removed from the basement without further problems. Then the kid tried to camouflage himself in different clothes and come back into the house after we threw him out. He was refused entry and that was the end of it,” he said.

People stuck in elevator at EastmanSeveral people were stuck in an elevator on Friday at the Eastman School of Music Annex.

The individuals were freed around 10 a.m. after elevator service responded, according to UR Security.

Glass panel reported damagedAround 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday a glass panel was reported damaged to UR Security.

The glass panel, which is located in the Kendrick bus shelter has an estimated value of $500.

Cell phones stolen from Eastman theaterTwo cell phones were reported stolen from the Eastman Theater on Tuesday. The first was stolen around 11:30 a.m. and the second sometime around noon, according to UR Security.

The cell phones are estimated around $150 and $200.

Raccoon spotted outside Susan B. Anthony HallA raccoon was reported outside Sue B. at 9 p.m. on Friday. Animal control responded.

Graduate student harasses nonaffiliated individualAccording to UR Security, a graduate student reportedly harassed a non-university community member, according to UR Security.

The harassment occurred off campus around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
