All right, all right, I know that John Mayer isn’t such a big deal anymore. But this is Rochester. Everyone always complains about not having anything to do here.

So get out and see a concert at the Blue Cross Arena on Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m.

For those of you who don’t know, Mayer plays folk rock in a style similar to Jack Johnson, Guster and Ben Harper.

His biggest hit has been the song “No Such Thing,” which was released in his debut album, “Room for Squares” in September 2001.

On Sept. 9 of this year, Mayer released his newest album, “Heavier Things,” and is now on his November tour.

After visiting Rochester, Mayer will head to Canada and perform in London, Ottawa and Toronto.

The Blue Cross Arena is located at One War Memorial Square in downtown Rochester.

Call (585) 758-5300 for tickets, which cost $34 or visit http://www.ticketmaster.com.
