1. What is your favorite aspect of the game? Why?

My favorite aspect of the game has to be the camaraderie of the team, especially after a good win.  The locker room is always in high spirits. We usually are laughing about something, but more than anything we are just happy to have gotten the W.

2. What player do you most look up to? Why?

In terms of professional basketball, I’d have to say Gordon Hayward. He lets his game do the talking and always stays humble. On the U of R basketball team it would go to Dylan Peretz. He is always working hard in practice and is just a great guy in general.

3. Do you have any particular pre-game rituals?

Before each game, I stretch, pray, and listen to music. Not one artist in particular, just a variety of songs.

4. How did it feel to steal the ball at such a critical point and give your team the go-ahead points?

It felt good. I saw an opportunity to get a hand out on the pass and luckily made contact with the ball and got a deflection. I am thankful to have had an opportunity like that present itself and convert at a crucial moment.

5. How did it feel to start the season with a narrow victory?

Starting with a win against Nazareth felt great. It’s nice momentum going into our next tournament at home.

6. How optimistic are you about the team’s chances this season?

Very optimistic. We have a great group of senior leaders and most of us have played together for at least a season. We feel pretty comfortable as a whole on the court.

7. Would you rather be Black Widow or Cat Woman? Why?

Black Widow.Scarlett Johansson’s role in “Iron Man 2” was absolutely phenomenal.
