The Buffalo Bills (5–1) visited Paradise, Nevada to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders (3–3). The game ended 33–30, suggesting a very hotly contested game.

Buffalo started adding points to the board with a field goal kick at about minute ten in the first quarter. Though this quarter was the slowest of the game, the Raiders still scored a touchdown at four minutes into the first quarter, and made an extra point, bringing the game to 3–7.

In the second quarter, the Bills started off again with another field goal. They then scored again at seven minutes in the first half, bringing the score up to 13–7. The Raiders responded by kicking their first field goal of the game, and going on to score another field goal with four seconds  left in the second quarter. At halftime, the score was tied, 13–13.

The third quarter began with another field goal kick from Buffalo, which suggests a deliberate offensive playstyle by their offensive coordinator, Pete Carmichael Jr. The Raiders attempted a pass to Tight End Michel Mayer (87), but was intercepted by Inside Line Backer Dorian Williams (42), creating a touchdown pass for the Bills two minutes later, bringing the game to 23–13.

In the fourth and final quarter of the game, Vegas broke the pattern of Buffalo starting with field goals, by starting with one of their own. By minute eight, they had scored again on 3rd and 8, tying the game at 23-23.

At four minutes, the Bills scored again, Running Back James Cook III (4) running it in at 1st and goal. At the two minute warning, the Bills take their final score of the game, a field goal. Vegas made an incredible last-minute touchdown pass for 44 yards, Wide Receiver Tre Tucker (1) with a diving catch at a minute and a half left of the game, being the last scoring drive for both teams. The game ended 33–30, with the fourth quarter being the most explosive.

Quarterbacks Josh Allen (17) and Kirk Cousins (8) both had pretty decent games, each scoring two touchdowns and making over 200 yards in the game. The real MVPs were both of the respective team’s kickers; with Bills kicker Tyler Bass (16) making four kicks in the game and Raiders kicker Matt Gay (14) made three. Neither had a single miss.

The last time the two teams played was in September of 2023. Looking past Week 6 of the season, the Bills will go on bye for Week 7, and the Raiders will be playing on Oct. 25 against the Los Angeles Rams.
