A few weeks ago, my friend and I went to the new 7 Brew branch near Jefferson Road in Henrietta to see what all the hype was about. Upon arrival, we were not disappointed. They had a line nearly wrapping around the building and music blasting from their speakers.
We had the opportunity to meet with Brian Tierney, the Director of Operations for the 7 Brew locations in Syracuse and Rochester, where we gained insight into the work that creates 7 Brew’s brand.
According to Tireney, the decision to put their new location at this site was a thoroughly researched one. “Our development team does research into all our sites and does studies on traffic[,] as well as volume and population,” He said. “With three 3 local colleges surrounding the Jefferson Rd. Location it seemed like the perfect fit.” So far at least, the size of the line shows that research is paying off.
The whole experience of 7 Brew is energetic and lively, which you feel the moment you pull up to the window to order. Part of their company mission is to, upon founding a new location, give back to the community they are becoming a part of. Through a combination of fundraising and their own money, 7 Brew raised $25,000 to donate to the Golisano Children’s Hospital. According to Tierney. The money was raised by this new location and another 7 Brew in Webster on Empire Boulevard. The total doubled the amount of money previously raised by other Rochester locations.
Tierney has high hopes for the new Jefferson location and for his set of franchise locations as a whole. He says 7 Brew “will continue to partner with local community initiatives as we will always cultivate kindness. As a brand [they] will grow and evolve and continue to try and give not only the best service possible but high quality products.”
7 Brew is more than just an energy company running on music and good vibes; they have a business model that helps and brightens the community they become part of.
