If you’re considering going into business and want to make lots of money, attend “Secrets of the Young and Successful: How to Get Everything You Want Without Waiting a Lifetime,” today at 5:30 p.m. in Wilson Commons. Refreshments will be served.

The event is a workshop led by Jennifer Kushell, who is a motivational speaker and the author of a book of the same title.

Kushell is the president and founder of the Young & Successful Media Corporation and is said to be the “guru” of her generation.

Following Kushell’s speech, she will lead the audience in a group networking exercise to begin to create what Kushell has dubbed “success committees.”

“My research has shown that there are distinct characteristics common among successful entrepreneurs who started business at a young age,” Kushell said.

The workshop is sponsored by UR’s Office for Special Programs and Part-time Studies, United Way of Greater Rochester and Greater Rochester Enterprise.

Tickets cost $5 for UR students, $15 for faculty and staff and $25 for the public. Parking is free for this event.

An open letter to all members of any university community

I strongly oppose the proposed divestment resolution. This resolution is nothing more than another ugly manifestation of antisemitism at the University.
