Why Brian is the athlete of the Week: Shenker won the B flight singles in a tennis tournament over the weekend versus Ithaca, Mercyhurst, and Hobart. Shenker’s three straight victories culminated with a title match against fellow teammate, senior co-captain Dan Schoener in the finals. Shenker prevailed 3-6, 6-3, (10-4.) He also won the Consolation doubles with partner Eric Prince. Shenker looks to keep his winning streak going this weekend at the ITA Championships at Vassar College.
