Patrol officers entered the Drama House to find over 100 people in the area, most of whom were in possession of alcohol, after 11 p.m. on Oct. 30, according to UR Security.

Forty-nine cases of beer were stacked in the basement along with a funnel with a hose attached to it, according to UR Security Investigator Dan Lafferty.

The sponsors of the event were students from the Rochester Institute of Technology, according to UR Security.

The RIT students had apparently rented the Drama House for their own RIT event, according to Security.

According to Lafferty, the students had no party permit.

In addition, the students were also in violation of the university alcohol policy, according to UR Security.

The event was subsequently shut down and the alcohol was confiscated, according to Lafferty.

Naked students run around campus

Security officers noticed several students running around the Fraternity Quad naked after midnight on Oct. 31.

According to Lafferty, the three students were from another college.

The students indicated that they were at the Fraternity Quad because of a party, according to UR Security.

The students were identified, warned and advised against such behavior, according to Security.

Several vehicles

damaged in UR lots

Two vehicles were stolen from the Valentine parking lot around 8 p.m. on Oct. 26, according to Lafferty.

The two cars that were stolen were worth $2,500 and $4,000, according to UR Security.

In addition, two additional vehicles were broken into, according to UR Security.

One vehicle had a vent window broken while the second’s door lock was pried, according to UR Security.

Both vehicles had damage to the steering column ignition switch areas, according to Security.

One of the vehicles also had a stereo stolen from the car, according to Lafferty.

All four victims are going to file police reports, according to Security.

Bike stolen outside Gilbert Hall

A student’s bicycle was stolen from outside Gilbert Hall sometime between Oct. 12-24, according to Lafferty.

The bicycle had been secured to a fence outside the building when it was stolen.

It has an estimated value of $150, according to UR Security.

The victim was unsure if they were going to contact the police department or not.
