UR’s parking and transportation services have been consistently working to improve the quality and efficiency of the transit and University bus services that individuals use to travel to various locations on and off campus.

Schedules are revamped semester to semester, and new buses were purchased last semester to provide users with better transportation accommodations.

These will provide daily users with the desire to continue utilizing and trusting this free transportation.

One of the most recent additions UR has added to transportation services is the implementation of an online tracking device entitled StreetEagleWeb-Public Vehicle Viewer.

This online resource enables students to pinpoint the location of their bus with just the click of a mouse.

After selecting the bus in mind, the students need to press the “update now” button, and they are immediately given the address of the last location at which the bus had arrived and a map depicting its present position.

The viewer is able to locate buses running on the Red Line, Green Line and Blue Line, as well as University shuttles running to various locations.

With access to a computer, any student or faculty member can easily determine a bus’s travel schedule, especially in adverse weather conditions when such devices are highly convenient.

To access the StreetEagleWeb-Public Vehicle Viewer, visit http://www.rochester.edu/parking/shuttle.htm.
