By Brian GoldnerCampus Times StaffNew Jersey’s most successful ska-punk combo, Catch 22, will be in Rochester this weekend. They are playing at Slammer’s Bar & Grill Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have been on tour since the fall in support of their new album, “Dinosaur Sounds.” They have also toured with bands like “Suicide Machines,” “Mighty Mighty Bosstones,” “Reel Big Fish” and “Penny Wise,” among many others, and have returned the favor by offering to help new bands on their way up. Sum 41, Bowling for Soup and Thursday all opened for Catch 22 before they were known nationally.Slammers is open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Catch 22 will be playing there from Friday to Sunday, including a special Super Bowl half-time show, the only live Super Bowl half-time show in Rochester.Their show times on Friday and Saturday are from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Slammers is located at 4650 Dewey Ave. They can be reached at 663-4455.
