Officers responded to a report around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday to a report by a student aide that had been offered ecstasy by three suspects.

Officers reported that one of the suspects claimed he was rapping a song, rather than saying the word ecstasy, according to UR Security.The suspects claimed they were visiting a friend on campus.

However, they neither knew his name nor where he lived. No ecstasy was actually found anywhere on the suspects.

All three suspects were warned against future behavior.

Graduate student attacked without notice or reasonA graduate student was reportedly attacked in Park Lot on Thursday. Three suspects began punching him in the face and body. Witnesses approached the student to help him, according to Dan Lafferty.

As soon as the the suspects saw the witnesses they left the student and got in a car which was parked near Intercampus Drive. The car was described as a 1980’s blue Cherokee with New York plates.

The student refused medical attention. Security searched for the suspects but found no evidence of anyone.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact security.

Car damaged while parked on Fraternity RoadA student car was damaged on Feb. 3 around 2:30 a.m. The car which was parked on Fraternity Road had one headlight kicked out. The car was near Sigma Alpha Mu, according to Lafferty.

Witnesses report seeing a suspect who fled the scene after kicking the headlight. The suspect jumped into a waiting car to escape the scene of the damage. A police report was filed.

Student reports stolen Dell from Rush RheesSomewhere between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. an undergraduate’s Dell laptop was stolen by an unidentified suspect.

The estimated value of the laptop was $1,500 The student refused to file a report with the police department. The laptop had been left unattended and unsecured in the Periodical Reading Room in Rush Rhees Library.
