I was irritated at the question posed by UR OPINION regarding Hurricane Francis. Although I am not a Florida resident, I feel sympathy for the families and inhabitants of the state. Everyone knows the damage that a hurricane can cause to an area and I think making mild humor out of such a devastating disaster, can strike up a lot of feelings, especially for the students who have families and homes in Florida. I do realize the CT did not have an intention of hurting the feelings of students, but I do think that it was a poor choice for a UR OPINION column and I do hope that next time more thought will be put into the topic of the question to not negatively affect the readers of a popular University newspaper.

Perhaps if this movie had good music or better dialogue it would be slightly enjoyable, but the real culprit was the exceedingly cliche plot lines, uninspired characters, and the overwhelming lack of Christmas authenticity.  Read More
