I was irritated at the question posed by UR OPINION regarding Hurricane Francis. Although I am not a Florida resident, I feel sympathy for the families and inhabitants of the state. Everyone knows the damage that a hurricane can cause to an area and I think making mild humor out of such a devastating disaster, can strike up a lot of feelings, especially for the students who have families and homes in Florida. I do realize the CT did not have an intention of hurting the feelings of students, but I do think that it was a poor choice for a UR OPINION column and I do hope that next time more thought will be put into the topic of the question to not negatively affect the readers of a popular University newspaper.
