Friday, Nov. 2, the Hirst Lounge in Wilson Commons will be turned into a fair on sexual knowledge. The Pleasure Party will be held between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

A group from the “Peer Health Advocacy” class, HLS 216 is holding the fair to raise awareness of safe sex. The fair is also meant to celebrate sexuality in general.

Representatives from Planned Parenthood, Monroe County Department of Health Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic, AIDS Rochester, University Health Services and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual-Transgered and Friends Association will all be represented. Information will be provided on all types of sexual health ? both mental and physical.

Highlights of the fair include freebies, such as condoms and games. “There will be free games people can play such as ‘Pin the Jimmy on Timmy,'” junior Rasai Ernst said. Ernst is one of the organizers of the event.

“Pleasure Party is a chance to celebrate sexuality, have fun and get educated at the same time,” Ernst said.
