Student found in Rush Rhees Library after its closing caused the activation of the intrusion alarm.

Two unaffiliated persons were arrested for trespass and possession of burglar tools after students reported them to DPS. They were located near the bike rack at Gavett Hall.

Motor vehicle accident reported at the intersection of Library Road and Intercampus Dr. No injuries were reported from the accident.

DPS update for 9/9/18

As recently as the early 2010s, it was standard practice for surgeons to provide 30 to 40 or more opioid pills for common, minimally invasive procedures. Most of these pills, however, would remain untouched, left over in the patient’s medical cabinet or kitchen pantries for potential misuse.
