I was very disappointed with the Campus Times’ coverage of the mayor’s speech.

The article implied that the event was a school-sponsored event, which was unfortunate considering the hard work and long hours that Christopher Hancock, in addition to the Urban Exploring Club and Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, who actually sponsored the event, put into it.

Even UR President Joel Seligman, who attended only briefly, seemed confused by this fact, thinking that the mayor had suggested the event.

Furthermore, the article failed to mention the passion with which students attended the event. I suggest that next time an event like this happens on campus you include all the important facts!
