The student called Security while following the suspect, who dropped the bike as he came up the stairs outside Meliora Hall facing Harkness Hall and ran back down the stairs.

Gas just keeps leaking on Intercampus Drive

5.  Security responded to a report of a vehicle leaking gas in the Intercampus Drive Lot on Monday, Oct. 17 at 10:35 p.m.

Officers discovered a considerable amount of gas that had leaked from a parked vehicle. The Rochester Fire Department was notified and responded to cover the leaked gas with grease absorbant.

While on scene for the first leak, another vehicle leaking gas further down the lot was reported by the owner of the car. The Fire Department proceeded to place absorbant material on this gas as well.

Initial reports indicate that one vehicle had a puncture of some sort in a gas line and that the second had a puncture in the gas tank itself, according to Lafferty.

The cause of the punctures has yet to be determined, and Security is still  unclear as to whether the two incidents are related.
