Now if anyone asked me, I would generally say I’m a low maintenance girlie. I don’t need much during the day, or hell, even the week! Just a little bit of sun, the tiniest bit of water, and a place to watch the world go by. That’s it! So forgive me for thinking that even college life would be suitable for me. I’m a succulent succulent! I’m meant to thrive in harsh scenarios, like the boss bitch I am. But no. I don’t think that I’ve seen the sun in a month, let alone opened the window. So here I sit. Withering away on the windowsill, reflecting on the potential I had yesterday. My leaves are shriveled now, my stem leaning. My soil is dry as a bone. I fear now, that even if the window opened, I would be burned by the sun and float away piece by piece with the wind. Oh how I hope my sister plants are faring better than I.
