Senior Allison Schroth chucks a pie at senior Chris Holmberg during Throw-A-Pie-At-Gamma-Phi, a charity event that raised over $1,400 dollars for Hillside Children’s Center in Rochester. The international chapter will double the funds for that charity. Members of Sigma Phi Epsilon participated as well.

The URochester Yellowjackets played the Tufts University Jumbos Sept. 26, in a game of field hockey dedicated to Morgan Rodgers, a former lacrosse player from Duke University who passed in 2019 from suicide. The URochester field hockey chapter of Morgan’s Message was there to eliminate the stigma around mental health and asking for help when needed. URochester’s 2026-27 Medical Amnesty Policy now includes student organizations seeking medical help on behalf of their members. The policy says that students, and now student organizations, who reach out for help with substance-related medical emergencies will not suffer consequences for the possession or consumption of alcohol and other drugs in violation of University policy.
