Bausch & Lomb Hall repeatedly vandalized
The Bausch and Lomb Hall was vandalized twice over spring break. On March 6 at 9:58 a.m., and again on March 12 at 8:41 a.m., graffiti was found in the hall, according to UR Security. The estimated value of the damages were unknown, according to security.
Wallets, textbook reported stolen
A purse was reported to have been stolen from a vehicle on March 13, according to security.The purse was inside a non-university vehicle when it was reported to have been taken at 12:20 p.m. The value of the purse is unknown, according to security. Likewise, a wallet was reported stolen from an unsecured room in Wallis Hall, according to UR Security.The wallet had an estimated value of $70 and was reported to have been stolen at 10:43 a.m. on March 13, according to security.Similarly, a textbook was reported taken from an unsecured room in the Frederick Douglass bookstore at 4:43 p.m. on March 13.The textbook was non-univeristy property and the estimated value of the stolen good was unknown, according to UR Security.
Students in violation of alcohol policy
Two intoxicated students were found in violation of the UR alcohol policy, at 10:46 p.m. on March 13. The students, residents from the Burton Residence Hall, were rushed immediately to the ambulance, according to UR Security.Earlier, another intoxicated student was also taken promptly to the ambulance on March 6. The student, a resident from the Hoeing Residence Hall, was warned, according to UR Security.Staff member struck by vehicleA certain staff member was struck by a vehicle in the Emergency Department Lot, according to UR Security.The vehicle was not affiliated with the university. The driver of the vehicle left before the Rochester Police Department arrived.
