Steven Merriam, a technician for the School of Medicine and Dentistry, died May 19. To pay respects, University flags will be lowered Tuesday, August 4. 

Merriam worked in the vivarium, a service department that provides routine care services for laboratory animals, such as housing, feeding, and behavior observation. 

Merriam started working for the University in 2006.
