It is obvious that Richard Tipton has no idea about the sport of swimming when he called our preformance subpar at UAA’s. Just because we finsihed seventh, against some of the top teams in Division III I might add, does not mean we preformesd poorly. In fact, we had our best swims of the year at this swim meet. Our relays all swam the fastest they have all year and I would say that individually we had almost 75% best times from the whole team. If that is a failure I want to know what the conditions for success are. The next time you feel the need to refer to our preformance as “subpar” I would like for you to check your information. Or next time make sure the author knows about the sport on which he is covering.
