A student in Hoeing Hall received a surprise at 6 a.m. Sunday, when another student who did not live there entered the student?s room without permission and climbed into a vacant bed.

The student also reported that his unknown visitor had urinated in the bed, as well as in other areas of the room, Security Investigator Dan Lafferty said.

The room?s resident called Security officers, who responded to the room. The officers were able to rouse the trespasser and escort him into a lounge.

The Medical Emergency Response Team arrived and evaluated the wandering student. He told volunteers that he had drunk 7 or 8 beers and did not know how he had ended up in the wrong building. Officers then escorted the student back to his own room.
