Dr. Melissa Perry-Harris, who hosts a current affairs program on MSNBC, will deliver UR’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Address. The event will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 6 p.m. in Strong Auditorium. Perry-Harris will focus the address on issues of race, religion, and gender in American politics.

In addition to her own television program, Perry-Harris is a regular contributor to other print and media programs, a political analyst, and a professor of political science at Tulane University.
