The Erie Lackawanna Pedestrian Bridge was officially opened on Monday, July 23 at a celebration attended by UR President Joel Seligman, Rochester Mayor Thomas S. Richards, City Councilwoman Elaine Spaull and members of the Rochester community. The structure is a newly renovated railroad bridge that has been under construction since the beginning of the summer. The bridge spans the Genesee River and connects the River Campus with southwest Rochester neighborhoods.
