The Memorial Art Gallery has voluntarily recalled recycled tote bags that were sold in the Gallery Store. The bags were made from banners previously used to promote the Gallery’s art exhibitions. After being alerted of the possibility of the presence of heavy metals, the bags were tested. The inks on the bags were found to contain heavy metals.

Thirty-six of these bags have been sold since October 2011. Anyone who has purchased one of these bags should return them to the Gallery Store for a full refund.
