D-Day to be held on a Friday after prolonged administration deliberation

Dandelion Day will be held on Friday, April 27 this year, instead of the Saturday before reading period, when it is traditionally held, in an effort to curb what has been seen by many as excessive and dangerous drinking on the celebratory day in recent years, according to Dean of Students Matthew Burns.

Burns also said that this year’s budget for D-Day will be three times greater than last year’s and that advertising for the day will be significantly increased in an effort to publicize an expanded selection of activities.

For full coverage of the decision see this Thursday’s edition of the Campus Times.
