Campus Times receives prestigious awards for online design

The Campus Times won first place for redesign of a newspaper website and honorable mention for home page of a news website at the University of Missouri School of Journalism’s Student Society for News Design annual contest.

The Student Society for News Design is one of the most well respected agencies in the industry. It’s annual contest features many University and College newspapers competing for awards throughout the United States. The jurists give awards in three categories, for content and design in print, for multimedia awards and one for student designer of the year.

Bradley Halpern, Class of 2012, Students’ Association President and driving for behind the Campus Times’ recent website redesign, submitted the applications on behalf of the Campus Times. The Campus Times submitted for three awards: Overall news website (any news site produced by a group of students at one school), home page of a news website, and redesign of a news website.
