Senior forward Nate Novosel took a hard hit to the right side of his back and hip when he tried to score on a lay-up and was knocked down to the hardwood during the second half of UR’s 74-68 win over Plattsburgh State last night.
I talked to the former UAA Rookie of the Year earlier today and he told me that after receiving treatment from UR’s trainers, he “should be good for tonight’s [game against Keystone College at 8pm.]
Novosel had a solid performance against Plattsburgh last night, scoring 11 points on 4-7 shooting from the field. We will see whether or not the hit has any ill-effects on his play, but from what it appears, Novosel should be close to 100%.
